1,3,5-Tris(3,5-dibromophenyl)benzene is a molecule with a herringbone structure. It has been shown to be magnetic and can be observed in microscopy studies. The molecule also has covalent bonds that are oriented in one direction. 1,3,5-Tris(3,5-dibromophenyl)benzene was synthesized by cross-coupling reactions of two synthons or molybdenum and chiral catalysts. This molecular structure is also found to be used in supramolecular synthons for electrochemical studies where it acts as an electron donor and an oxidant.
