Product Information
The 1-(Chloromethyl)-4-isocyanato-benzene (CMB) is a reactive compound that can be used in the synthesis of polymers and other organic compounds. The CMB is synthesized by reacting 2-chloroethylbenzene with methyltriphenylphosphonium chloride (MPPC) and trimethylamine, which are nucleophiles. The CMB has been shown to react with styrene, resulting in an increase in the yield of polymerization. It also efficiently reacts with various functional groups, such as amines, alcohols, and phenols. These properties make it an excellent candidate for use in proteomics studies. The CMB has a particle size of 0.1-10 μm and a molecular weight of 129 g/mol. The CMB is synthesized by reacting 2-chloroethylbenzene with methyltriphenylphosphonium chloride (MPPC
