Description:

Pitofenone is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used to treat pain. It blocks the effects of acetylcholine, which is the neurotransmitter responsible for transmitting signals to muscles and other tissues. Pitofenone has been shown to be an effective analgesic (pain reliever) by binding to a receptor in the brain that binds to acetylcholine. This binding prevents acetylcholine from activating its receptors and causing pain. Pitofenone has been shown to have little or no effect on neuronal function and does not cause addiction or dependence. Pitofenone also has no significant effects on the cardiovascular system or urinary tract, unlike some other analgesics such as aspirin.
