Product Information
2-Quinoxalinecarbohydrazide (2QCH) is a hydroxysuccinimide analog that has been shown to inhibit the activation of the transcription factor nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB). 2QCH inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as necrosis factor (TNF), and reactive oxygen species in activated macrophages. 2QCH also inhibits the binding of NF-κB to its inhibitor keap1, leading to increased expression of inflammatory cytokines. The half-life values of 2QCH in mouse liver microsomes are approximately 3 minutes. This drug may be used as a chemotherapeutic agent for treatment of inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis or Crohn's disease.
