Product Information

Name:
Dihydroxybis(hydrogen Lactato)titanium(IV)
Description:

Dihydroxybis(hydrogen Lactato)titanium(IV) is a hydroxyl-containing compound with a molecular weight of 566.81. It has an acidic character, with a pK a of 2.6 and can be found in nature as the mineral erythrite. This compound is used as an oxidase inhibitor and organic solvent, and also functions as a polymerization initiator for the production of polymers. Dihydroxybis(hydrogen Lactato)titanium(IV) has been shown to inhibit the biosynthesis of lipids in cells by preventing the formation of fatty acid chains from acetyl-CoA molecules, which are necessary for lipid synthesis. The molecule also prevents the oxidation of fatty acids by inhibiting enzymes such as lipoxygenases, hydroperoxidases, and cyclooxygenases. Dihydroxybis(hydrogen Lactato)titanium(IV) can
