Description:

N-Diisopropyl 4-bromobenzamide is an industrial chemical that can be used as a hydrolyzing agent. It is a heterocycle, which is a compound with more than one ring of atoms. It has been shown to inhibit reductases and has the ability to act as an inhibitor in the synthesis of steroids. N-Diisopropyl 4-bromobenzamide has also been shown to be selective for human DNA over bacterial DNA and can be used in the treatment of human diseases such as leukemia. The selectivity may be due to its ability to inhibit topoisomerase II, which is not present in humans. This product can also be used as a reagent in organic synthesis reactions and is useful for the amidation of carboxylic acids and esters.
