Description:
1-Bromo-3-phenylimidazo[1,5-a]pyridine (BPIP) is a boronic acid that can be used in cross-coupling reactions to synthesize organic compounds. BPIP has been shown to produce high yields with minimal reaction time and good quantum yield. It is also selectively reactive with a variety of functional groups, including halogenated compounds. The fluorescent nature of BPIP allows it to be used as a reagent for chemiluminescent detection.
