Triphenylmethylhydrazine is an insoluble polymer that is used as a substrate binding agent in the production of microcapsules. It is also used in the synthesis of polymers and other organic compounds, as well as pharmaceuticals. Triphenylmethylhydrazine has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of oxidative stress and inflammatory pain. This drug can be applied topically, but it should be avoided for patients with skin reactions or eye disorders. Triphenylmethylhydrazine does not need to be taken orally and is not absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract, making it ideal for patients with diabetes who have diabetic neuropathy or eye disorders.
