Product Information

Name:
3-Bromo-2-fluoroquinoline
Description:

3-Bromo-2-fluoroquinoline is a pyridine compound that binds to receptor tyrosine kinases, which are important for the development and progression of diabetes. 3-Bromo-2-fluoroquinoline has been shown to inhibit the activity of glucagon receptors, inhibiting the release of glucagon and decreasing blood sugar levels. It also inhibits the activity of certain tyrosine kinases and has been shown to be an inhibitor of receptor tyrosine kinases in vitro. In vivo studies have shown that 3-bromo-2-fluoroquinoline is effective at reducing blood glucose levels in diabetic mice. 3-Bromo-2-fluoroquinoline also inhibits the proliferation of cells mediated by Pim1, a protein involved in cell growth, differentiation, and survival.
