Description:

Resorufin N-acetyl-b-D-glucosamine is a fluorogenic substrate that produces light when acted upon by the enzyme horseradish peroxidase. It can be used in diagnostics and clinical chemistry, as well as environmental testing. Resorufin N-acetyl-b-D-glucosamine reacts with horseradish peroxidase to produce a blue color that is measured at 620 nanometers. It has been shown to react with many enzymes, including the following: alpha amylase, beta amylase, lipases, phosphatases, esterases, proteases, and oxidoreductases.
