Product Information
2,3,4,6-Tetra-o-acetyl-alpha-galactosylpyranosyl bromide (TAGB) is a fluorescent probe that can be used to study protein interactions, receptor activation and peptide binding. It is also an inhibitor of ion channels and ligands for antibodies. TAGB is a high purity product with a CAS No. 529493-92-3. The active ingredient in TAGB has been shown to inhibit ligand binding to the antibody by competitively binding to the same site on the antibody. This binding prevents the formation of an antibody-ligand complex with the antigen that is required for immune response.
