Beloranib hemioxalate is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme kinase that plays a crucial role in protein regulation. It is an analog of oxytocin, a hormone involved in human reproductive and social behaviors. Beloranib hemioxalate has been shown to induce apoptosis (programmed cell death) in cancer cells, making it a promising anticancer agent.
