Description

2-Amino-5-chloropyridine is an organic compound that is a metabolite of nicotinic acid. 2-Amino-5-chloropyridine has been detected in urine samples and can be extracted from urine with hydrochloric acid. It can also be prepared by the reaction of picolinic acid and malonic acid, which are both found in the human body.
