(2S)-2-[(4-Azido-2,3,5,6-Tetrafluorobenzoyl)Amino]-3-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)Propanoic Acid is a catalytic agent that can be used in the treatment of virus infections. It has been shown to have antiviral activity against HIV and herpes simplex virus (HSV). This compound has also been shown to have neuroprotective effects in animal models of Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. The mechanism of action for this compound is unclear.
