Description:

(3R)-3-Amino-N1-Boc-piperidine is a chiral, enantiomerically pure amino acid that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. It binds to the VEGF receptor with high affinity and specificity and inhibits angiogenesis, which may be responsible for its anti-cancer effects. (3R)-3-Amino-N1-Boc-piperidine is also a potent inhibitor of tyrosine kinase activity, which is involved in the growth of new blood vessels. This drug can be used as a pharmacological tool to study the regulation of vascular endothelial cell proliferation with high yield and good asymmetric synthesis. The drug can also be used in sustainable microvessel catalysis, which are involved in the production of hydrogen gas from water by means of electrolysis.
