Description:

Ac-Tyr(PO3H2)-Glu-Glu-Ile-Glu-OH is a nucleic acid sensor that can be used to detect the presence of specific nucleic acids (DNA or RNA) in a sample. Ac-Tyr(PO3H2)-Glu-Glu-Ile-Glu-OH binds to nucleic acids, and then emits fluorescence when irradiated with light at a wavelength of 350 nm. Ac-Tyr(PO3H2)-Glu-Glu-Ile-Glu-OH can be used as an assay for the detection of specific DNA sequences, such as those found in single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs).
