Description:
3-Amino-5,6-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazine is a triazine compound that forms a complex with silver trifluoromethanesulfonate. It has been shown to have an affinity for chloride ions and form stable complexes with them. 3-Amino-5,6-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazine has also been shown to interact with other anions such as nitrate and perchlorate ions. The compound has been shown to be effective in the treatment of tumours when combined with chloroform or benzene. This drug is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform or benzene.
