Description

(R)-(-)-3-Amino-3-phenylpropionic acid is a hydrogenated, stereoselective β-amino acid that is involved in the biosynthesis of animal health. The enzyme acylase catalyzes this reaction by binding with chiral pyridoxal phosphate to form an acylation product.
