Description

5-Amino-1H-tetrazol-1-yl)acetic acid is a water soluble, insensitive, and crystalline compound. It has been shown to have supramolecular architectures, which are composed of a molecule that interacts with another molecule through hydrogen bonding and/or electrostatic forces. 5-Amino-1H-tetrazol-1-yl)acetic acid has also been used as a bidentate ligand in the synthesis of anions, such as cyanogen. This compound is also used in the treatment of carcinoma cells by inhibiting their growth and inducing apoptosis.
