4-Amino-1,2,5-oxadiazole-3-carbonitrile (4AOX) is a research chemical that belongs to the class of benzene compounds. 4AOX has been shown to react with ammonium to form a salt, which can be used as an intermediate for other chemical reactions. In addition, 4AOX has been shown to undergo an intramolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction in the presence of a nitrile group and yields a variety of products. This compound is also capable of reacting with benzene to produce benzonitrile.
