Description

N-(2-Amino-4,6-dichloro-5-pyrimidinyl)formamide is a heterocyclic amide that has been used as a precursor to formyl amides. It is synthesized by the chlorination of malonic acid and subsequent reaction with diethyl 2,4,6-trichloropyrimidine.
