Description:
4-Amino-2,6-dichloropyrimidine is a low potency chemical that has been shown to be an immunodeficiency cross-linking agent. It can form covalent bonds with proteins and nucleic acids in the body, which may lead to immunodeficiency. 4-Amino-2,6-dichloropyrimidine is also used as a cross-linking agent for the preparation of monoclonal antibodies for use in diagnostic assays. This chemical has been shown to form amide bonds with amino groups on protein molecules.
