Description:
5-(2-Aminoethyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-amine dihydrochloride (AET) is a histamine receptor antagonist that is synthetized and hydrophilic. It blocks the binding of histamine to its receptors in the blood vessels and atrium of the heart. AET has been shown to be effective in reducing blood pressure in hypertensive animal models.
