Description

The x-ray structure analysis of 2-Amino-5-bromophenyl)(phenyl)methanone reveals that it is a molecule with an intramolecular hydrogen bond. This compound has been synthesized and found to stabilize the conformation of the molecule, thereby promoting the formation of a photoproduct. The fluorescence and ether linkages are also present in this molecule. 2-Amino-5-bromophenyl)(phenyl)methanone is used for the treatment of tuberculosis and other bacterial infections.
