Product Information
2-Amino-4,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitrile (ADMC) is an antiviral agent that inhibits the replication of viruses by interfering with their RNA polymerase. ADMC is a prodrug that is converted to 2-(2-carboxyethyl)-1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitrile in vivo and binds to the RNA polymerase enzyme. The resulting complex prevents the synthesis of viral RNA and protein, thereby inhibiting viral replication.
