Description:
1-(3-Acetamidophenyl)-5-mercaptotetrazole is a cationic, aromatic group with sulfur. It is chemically similar to the iridium compound iodochloride. This chemical reacts with substituents and disulfides to form a new compound that can be easily oxidized. 1-(3-Acetamidophenyl)-5-mercaptotetrazole has been shown to be sensitive to light and can react with silver or other metals in the presence of light, which may lead to formation of an insoluble salt.
