Product Information
- Allyl(diphenyl)phosphine
- Phosphine, Diphenyl-2-Propen-1-Yl-
- Diphenyl(Prop-2-En-1-Yl)Phosphane
Allyldiphenylphosphine is a mixture of alkyl-substituted diphenylphosphines. It is used as an antioxidant in mixtures with hydroxyl groups, methyl ketones, and cyclosporine. Allyldiphenylphosphine has been shown to be stereoselective for the reaction with isatx247 and trifluoroacetic acid, which are substrates for group P2. Trifluoroacetic acid and ethyl diazoacetate react with allyldiphenylphosphine to form the corresponding aldehyde groups. The aldehyde groups can then react with nitrogen nucleophiles to form isomeric mixtures. Allyldiphenylphosphines are also used as organometallic compounds, reacting with metal carbonyls to form compounds that contain two or more metal centers linked by C-P bonds.
