Description

3-Amino-3-(4-ethylphenyl)propanoicacid is a synthetic compound that has been used to synthesize erbium. It is soluble in hydrochloric acid, but insoluble in water. The crystals are colorless, and the melting point is about 154°C. Norfloxacin is a fluorinated derivative of 3-amino-3-(4-ethylphenyl)propanoic acid. The decoloration reaction of 3-chloro-4-fluoroaniline with potassium hydroxide produces 3-amino-3-(4-ethylphenyl)propanoic acid from 3 chloro 4 fluoro aniline and potassium hydroxide.
