Description:
5-Amino-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylicacid is an acid ethyl ester that is used as a precursor to the production of methylene, which is used in the synthesis of various organic compounds. 5-Amino-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylicacid can be synthesized by reacting ethyl cyanoacetate with hydrazine and a base. The yield of this compound is high and does not require protection from atmospheric oxygen. It has been shown to have low toxicity for humans when ingested by mouth or inhaled.
