Description:
N-Allylformamide is a monomer that belongs to the amide group. It has viscosity, amine and organometallic functionalities. N-Allylformamide is used in the synthesis of linear polymers for use in adhesives, sealants, coatings, plastics and elastomers. N-Allylformamide has been shown to form hydrophobic gels when polymerized with other amides or aldehydes. These gels can be used as membranes for microfiltration and reverse osmosis.
