Description:
2, 6-Dimethyl-L-tyrosine is a drug that binds to the receptor for substance P. It is a cyclic peptide that has been shown to be an antagonist of substance P and capsaicin in vitro. 2, 6-Dimethyl-L-tyrosine has pharmacokinetic properties that allow it to cross the blood brain barrier and enter the central nervous system.
