Description

1-(4-Aminophenyl)-3,5-dihydro-7,8-dimethoxy-4H-2,3-benzodiazepin-4-one is a neuroactive drug that is mainly used in the treatment of epileptic seizures. It has been found to be effective in preventing epileptic seizures and causing a decrease in the number of convulsions in rats. The drug has also been shown to have a pharmacokinetic profile similar to other benzodiazepines. 1-(4-Aminophenyl)-3,5-dihydro-7,8-dimethoxy-4H-2,3 -benzodiazepin -4 -one is metabolized by biotransformation through the cytochrome P450 system and excreted by the kidneys.
