Product Information
- 1-Amino-2-Cyanopyrrole
- 1-amino-1H-pyrrole-2-carbonitrile
1-Aminopyrrole-2-carbonitrile is an amide that can be synthesized industrially by hydrolysis of 1,4-diaminobutane with hydroxylamine and subsequent reaction with triazine. It is used to produce reagents for the synthesis of cyclic compounds and intermediates for the synthesis of amidines. 1-Aminopyrrole-2-carbonitrile can be desulfurized using thiourea as a reagent. This process produces urea, a raw material in the production of fertilizers and plastics.
