4-Acetamidoantipyrine is a reactive dye used in wastewater treatment. It has been shown to inhibit the enzyme activities of human liver cells, including malonic acid decarboxylase and aspartate aminotransferase. 4-Acetamidoantipyrine is also used for the preparation of samples for analytical methods such as gas chromatography and plasma mass spectrometry. 4-Acetamidoantipyrine is a reactive dye that can be used for the detection of disease activity in experimental models. This compound is also used for the detection of lymphocyte transformation, which may lead to leukemia or lymphoma.
