Description:
6-Aminoisatoic anhydride is a monomer with a six-membered ring that can be used for the synthesis of polymers. The molecule has been studied experimentally and synthesized in high yield using amide chemistry. It has been shown to have a viscosity of 1.9 cP at 20°C and a polymerization degree of 2.6, which is higher than polyethylene glycols (1.0) and polyvinyl alcohols (1.2). 6-Aminoisatoic anhydride is also used as medicine in the treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2.
