Description:
(+)-N-Allyl normetazocine hydrochloride is a synthetic opioid analgesic that has been shown to have pharmacologic and anesthetic effects in animals. It binds to the mu-opioid receptor, which leads to excitatory effects in the pancreas, suppression of salivation and nociceptive reflexes. (+)-N-Allyl normetazocine hydrochloride has also been shown to be a potent antagonist of the naloxone receptor. This drug has not been tested for interactions with other drugs.
