Acetamine hydrochloride is an organic compound that belongs to the group of compounds known as pyrazoles. It contains a pyrazole ring with a carbonyl substituent. Acetamine hydrochloride has been shown to inhibit mitochondrial membrane potential and cause apoptosis in cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to regulate the balance between pro-apoptotic and anti-apoptotic proteins. This compound has also been shown to have therapeutic effects on autoimmune diseases, bowel disease, and congestive heart failure. Acetamine hydrochloride is used as a chemical intermediate for other pharmaceuticals such as glycol ethers, nitrofurans, and p-nitrophenyl phosphate.
