8-Amino-4-oxo-2-(tetrazol-5-yl)benzopyran (8AOBP) is a benzene derivative that can be used as an intermediate for the synthesis of various chemical compounds. It is produced by cyclizing a terephthaloyl group with phosphoric acid, citric acid or p-toluene sulfonic acid. 8AOBP is soluble in organic solvents and can be recycled to synthesize other compounds. This compound has been shown to have high reactivity with hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, citric acid and p-toluene sulfonic acid.
