Description:
2-Amino-5-cyclopropyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole is a synthetic compound that has been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties. It is an inhibitor of bacterial transpeptidase, which blocks the synthesis of proteins and causes cell death. 2-Amino-5-cyclopropyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole also has anticancer activity against various cancer cells. It has been shown to inhibit growth of cancer cells in vitro through inhibition of DNA synthesis and replication.
