Description:
N-(4-Aminobutyl)-5-chloro-2-naphthalenesulfonamide hydrochloride is a metalloprotease inhibitor that inhibits the activity of various enzymes such as matrix metalloproteinases and serine proteases. It has been shown to inhibit growth factor induced proliferation in cancer cells, and may be used for the treatment of cancer. The IC50 value of N-(4-aminobutyl)-5-chloro-2-naphthalenesulfonamide hydrochloride is 2.8 μM.
