Description:
Aristolactam AII is a tyrosinase inhibitor that may be used for the treatment of cancer. Aristolactam AII has anti-inflammatory properties and is derived from the Australian plant, Velutina sempervirens. The chemical structure of this molecule was determined by liquid chromatography followed by mass spectrometry. This compound has been shown to inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin production, and as such has anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory effects.
