2-Anilinoacetamide is a heterocycle that has been shown to have potent immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory properties. It also inhibits the growth of cervical cancer cells in vitro. 2-Anilinoacetamide binds to the receptor for NGF, which is expressed on the surface of cholinergic neurons and prevents acetylcholine release. This leads to neuronal death by preventing nerve growth factor from binding to its receptor. The other effects of 2-anilinoacetaide are related to its ability to inhibit protease activity and protein synthesis. 2-Anilinoacetamide may also be effective against cancers such as breast cancer due to its inhibition of protease activity, which may lead to decreased levels of proteins that promote tumor growth.
2-Anilinoacetamide also reacts with hydroxide solution or chlorine atom in the presence of benzofuranes (such as benzofurane) or triethylamine (TEA). This
