Description:

Arprinocid is an injectable formulation of the inorganic acid, phosphoric acid. It is a complex enzyme inhibitor that is used to treat hepatic steatosis and other metabolic disorders. Arprinocid inhibits the activity of enzymes that are needed for the metabolism of fatty acids. Arprinocid also has antimicrobial properties, which may be due to its ability to form hydrogen bonds with fatty acids on the surface of bacterial cells.
