Description:

Aminomethyl polystyrene resin is a reagent that can be used to measure the concentration of glycol ethers in a reaction solution. This compound is also an inhibitor of enzyme activity, and has been shown to have inhibitory properties on some biochemical reactions. The redox potentials of this compound are maintained at a high level by the addition of methyl ethyl ketone. The structural analysis of aminomethyl polystyrene resin was performed with the use of electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. Aminomethyl polystyrene resin has been shown to be effective against carcinoma cell lines, as well as congestive heart failure (CHF) patients due to its ability to inhibit plasma mass spectrometry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
