Description

6-Amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-1-one is a reactive molecule that binds to the skeleton of mammalian cells. It has been shown to be an inhibitor of colorectal adenocarcinoma in cell assays and has potent inhibitory activity for inflammatory diseases and cancer. 6-Amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-1-one has also been shown to have potent antagonist properties against carbonyl groups. The fluorophore attached to this molecule allows it to be used as a fluorescent probe for biological studies.
