Description:
Ammonium dodecanedioate is a cross-linking agent that can be used to form polyvinyl chloride. It is a basic compound with an ammonium cation and a dodecanedioic acid anion. Ammonium dodecanedioate has been shown to inhibit corrosion of aluminium, which is caused by metal cations such as iron or copper. Ammonium dodecanedioate also has the ability to inhibit the corrosion of hypophosphorous acid in alkaline solutions.
