Description:
Aminomethylcyclopentane hydrochloride is a heterocycloalkyl compound that belongs to the class of imidazopyridine amides. It has been shown to have insulin-sensitizing effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit serotonin re-uptake and increase the release of serotonin from nerve terminals. Aminomethylcyclopentane hydrochloride also has a myeloproliferative disorder and cancer chemopreventive effect, as well as anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. It has been shown in animals to reduce symptoms of neurodegenerative disease, such as Parkinson's disease, through cannabinoid receptor activation. In addition, it can activate the cb2 receptor in cells that are involved in the synthesis of cannabinoids.
