Description:
Z-Asp(OMe)-OH is an ester that is synthesized by the reaction of acetic acid and L-aspartic acid. It is used in organic chemistry as an alkyl ester, immobilized on a solid support, and as a catalyst for peptide synthesis. Z-Asp(OMe)-OH catalyzes the conversion of various carboxylic acids to their methyl esters and also catalyzes the formation of amides from carboxylic acids and ammonia.
