Description:
Aceglutamide aluminium is a cavity-filling agent that is available as a liquid, paste, or tablet. It is used to treat and prevent dental caries by remineralizing tooth tissue. Aceglutamide aluminium is applied to the tooth surface in order to form a protective layer on the tooth's surface. This layer helps to neutralize acids that are produced by plaque bacteria and can be found in food. The drug also helps to maintain oral pH levels and prevent tooth decay by increasing the amount of calcium and phosphate in saliva, which are essential for teeth remineralization. Aceglutamide aluminium has been shown to inhibit bacterial growth in vitro and has been shown to be safe for use with animals when administered orally.
