Description:

Acetoacet-P-Phenetidide is an amide that is synthesized from acetoacetic acid and P-phenetidine. It can be hydrolyzed to form acetoacetic acid and phenetidine. Acetoacet-P-Phenetidide has been shown to cleave a variety of amides, including dimethylformamide, amides, and formamides. Acetoacet-P-Phenetidide also reacts with hydrochloric acid to produce acetoacetic acid and phenetidine.
